The word “Migla”, meaning fog, symbolizes mystery, discovery, and the call of the unknown.
Founded by a group of passionate riders from Ladakh, Migla Expedition began with one dream — to help people experience the Himalayas not just as a destination, but as a journey of self-discovery. What started as friends exploring rugged trails has grown into a trusted travel company for adventurers around the world.
Our Journey
It all began in the summer of 2022, when the founders rode from Manali to Leh — crossing high passes, laughing through challenges, and realizing that adventure is about living every moment of the road.
After countless rides and campfire conversations, Migla Expedition was born — not to sell tours, but to create memories that last a lifetime.

Stanzin Chosdup (Founder)
Born and raised in the majestic mountains of Ladakh, the founder of MiG-La Expedition is a local hardworking boy with a dream of adventure and a deep love for the Himalayas. What began as a simple passion for riding through rugged mountain trails soon turned into a lifelong journey of exploration and inspiration. Starting his career as a humble tour guide and rider, he learned every aspect of travel—from route planning and logistics to ensuring each traveller’s safety, comfort, and joy. Through years of dedication, discipline, and hands-on experience, he built a reputation for his leadership, professionalism, and heartfelt hospitality. His friendly nature and unwavering commitment to excellence have earned him great respect and glowing feedback from both local and international travellers. Having successfully led over 30 expeditions across Ladakh, he continues to inspire others with his story—a true reflection of how passion, hard work, and a dream can shape something extraordinary. MiG-La Expedition stands today as a symbol of that journey, driven by the same spirit of adventure, authenticity, and love for the land that started it all.
